Chinese still call their foreign husbands devils behind their backs

 ""Gui zi" will always be "gui zi". I marry them, but I don't serve them. Even though my husband seems to be nice to me, these Germans discriminate against us deep inside their hearts.", said by a Chinese women who has married a German.

"Gui zi (
鬼子)" means devils, a term to abuse westerners and Japanese. 

As Taiwanese become more and more open-minded to appreciate different cultures, Chinese call Taiwanese traitors.
